Can you count the syllables in a word?

Please put the words in the correct box.
What is a syllable?
Well, every word has at least one syllable in it. This can either be the letter "y" or a vowel (a, e, i, o, u). You can clap the syllables in a word. For example:
foot - you can only clap here once but try saying "dentist". It can be clapped twice: den - tist. In this exercise we are only going to count the syllables in adjectives.
