Hallo Leute,
ich würde mich sehr freuen wenn ihr mein essay korriegeren könntet, da ich leider sehr schlecht essays schreibe und auch in englisch schlecht bin.
Hoffentlich könnt ihr meine Fehler korrigieren damit mein Englischlehrer dann staunen kann .
Paar anhaltspunkte zu meinem essay : Es geht um Richard Oaslter, King of the Factory Children.
When People talk about Richard Oastler many of them wanted to know what he was for a person and why he has got the title "The King of the Factory Children".
Richard Oastler was born as a son of a factory owner on 20.12.1789 in Leeds, Yorkshire and died on 22.08.1861. After meeting John Wood, a Bradford manufacter, in 1830, and discussing child labour with him, Oastler attacked the use of young children in factories.
So he wrote a letter to the Leeds Mercury attacking the employment of young children in factories. John Hobhouse, the M.P. read the letter and decided to introduce a bill which would limit child labour. Oastler thought the best way to protect children was to form a ten hour day. The long battle began. Although he spent for four years in prison for debt, Oastler did not forget the battle so after he left the prison the fight for the ten-hour day was won.
So he became famous with the title "The King of the Factory Children".
